Order of the Sinking Star finally gets a release date

The long-awaited new game, Order of the Sinking Star, from Jonathan Blow, the developer of Braid and The Witness, has finally gotten a release date – and it’s right around the corner. Order of the Sinking Star will be coming out on October 8th, as revealed in a new video on Jonathan Blow’s YouTube Channel.

 

Although Jonathan Blow hasn’t put out a lot of games, they’ve all been iconic in their own way. This new game, Order of the Sinking Star, will be his most ambitious game to date, and has taken him more than 10 years to develop.

If you’re unsure whether you’ll like the game or not, don’t fret, as there’s a demo available on its Steam page. Those of us here at The D1P, who have already played through the demo, are practically salivating for more, so you can bet we’ll be talking more about the game, as we near its launch.
